Five Points is one of Denver's oldest neighborhoods, famous for its jazz culture. The mural honors this history through its sleek, linear design and connected patterning that echo art deco styling. The angled and horizontal lines convey the neighboring diagonal streets that meet at a rectangular grid of roads which ultimately create the Five Points intersection, while the triangles represent the triangular shape of the neighborhood on a map. The mural is aptly titled
