AC Scottsdale Old Town
Scottsdale, AZ
Project Type
Hospitality
A hospitality amenity art program rooted in the history of the land and the evolution of Scottsdale — with custom works inspired by early electrical infrastructure, desert geometry, and the surrounding landscape.

STORY
Inspired by Infrastructure
Scottsdale’s early growth was shaped by water and power infrastructure. On this site, the Kimsey family helped establish the city’s first electrical grid, distributing hydroelectric power from Arizona Falls across the emerging community.
The artwork program translates this hidden network into material, pattern, and form—using woven linework, layered textures, and sculptural installations that echo the geometry of infrastructure throughout the property.

PROCESS
Material studies, fabrication, weaving experiments, and on-site installation.

FEATURED WORK
Architectural integrations, sculptural details, and guestroom installations.
